One of the highlights of the civic year is the United Guilds’ Service held in St Paul’s Cathedral in the presence of the Lord Mayor, the Sheriffs and members of all the livery companies. 

This year the service was held on Friday, 27^th March where the preacher was the Very Reverend Dr Jeffrey John, Dean of St Albans.

After the service, we were invited to take the short walk to Plaisterers’ Hall where we enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a three course meal with wine and coffee.
