Our principal speaker
was: Professor Paul
Corrigan, a former member of the
Board of the London NHS, a past advisor to No 10, and a
well-informed insider on the many issues we all know about
from the outside. Following a break at
around 7.15pm, when the buffet was served, we invited
two senior managers, wrestling with the challenges Paul has
described, to share their views and to discuss with us the
challenges we face in making the case, in the current climate,
for using consultancy services. They were: Keith Luck,
