WCoMC Pro Bono Consultancy Support for

The Company is privileged to provide pro bono consultancy support to the Prince’s Youth Business International (YBI).  YBI was founded in the UK in 2000 and is one of a group of over 20 not-for-profit organisations of which HRH The Prince of Wales is President.  YBI lead a global network of independent country initiatives helping young people start their own business and create employment.

YBI’s goal is to enable its network to support 100,000 new young entrepreneurs annually by 2020, thereby creating a total of more than one million jobs and making a significant contribution to the global employment challenge.

L
ast year, YBI helped over 8,000 young people start up their own business, bringing the total number of entrepreneurs supported to 105,000.  Through a combination of access to loan finance, a volunteer mentor and training offered by YBI affiliates, these young entrepreneurs are playing a vital role in strengthening local communities around the world. It is estimated that over the next three years they will create much-needed employment for a further 20,000 people.

Over 20 members of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants are involved in assisting YBI by offering advice to the central office and performing accreditation assessments of affiliated charities in 37 countries.  This year our members are travelling to six continents to support this worthy enterprise.
