Lecture Series

The first lecture was held at RogenSI, 1, Plough Place, London, EC4A 1DE.  Sir Mark Moody-Stuart kindly agreed to speak at this event.

Sir Mark has been non-executive Chairman of Anglo-American plc since 2001 and is a non-executive Director of HSBC and of Accenture.  He was Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell from 1998-2001.  His background and experience makes him uniquely qualified to address some of the serious issues facing business today.  Click here for more details.

Further lectures will be held in September and November

Seminar Programme

The Professional Development Committee’s April 2010 Seminar:

‘How to build relationships that last twenty years – and destroy them in a moment’

This is an event that gives us an opportunity to share and build insight into the many ways there are to establish powerful consultant-client relationships, based on the experience of some the Company’s most experienced members (and, perhaps, mentioning in passing, a few of the challenges they’ve faced).

We are pleased to announce this, the first in a series of informal seminars being organized for you by the Professional Development Committee. It will be held at:

Cass Business School, 20 April from 6.30pm until 8pm (with informal networking until 8.30pm)

Keith Burgess, Andy Wolfe and Mary Cockcroft, our panel, have pursued quite different and exceptionally successful management consulting careers.

Each will share with us one or two stories from the critical moments, good and bad, that they have had with their clients.  The evening will provide us with opportunities to both question the panel and discuss the implications of what we’ve heard

Space will be limited, so do book early to be sure of a place!

Booking and further information:

Please note that this event is being organized by the Professional Development Committee, not the Clerk; he will not respond to queries

·     To book, please email ben.taylor@redquadrant.com no later than the cut-off date of 13th April (we then have to forward your names to Cass in good time to meet their security requirements)

·     Cash payment of £15, which goes towards the cost of the wine and a small buffet, will be collected in the usual way during the evening

For more information about this and subsequent events, email ben.taylor@redquadrant.com and ask to be added to the PDC Subgroup that we are creating within the Company Group in LinkedIn

We are grateful to Harvey Nash for their sponsorship and support of this event.

Young Freeman

As well as members, the seminars will be open to younger consultants who may be interested in working with the Company and ultimately progress to member status.  Accordingly, the seminars will be promoted to larger consultancies and members will be asked to invite younger colleagues.

Further information on all these events will be made available nearer the time.
