Lectures and Seminars

The PDC organises three informal seminars each year where opportunities are created for an exchange of ideas and experiences between company members and also to learn from others, especially clients.

They are held in Cass Business School, from 6.00 pm to 8.30pm and a small charge (£20) is made to cover the cost of refreshments.

The subject of our next seminar, being held there on 29th September, is “Finding your way around Whitehall” and our speaker is Mark Gibson who, until recently, was a very senior civil servant.

The PDC also organises the annual Change Lecture, held each November, and the Education Supper, held in June, when the Urwick Cup is awarded.

This year’s Change Lecture will take place in the Tallow Chandler’s Hall on the evening of  18th November and will be given by John Kay, the economist and regular contributor to the Financial Times. His lecture will be on the Uses and Abuses of Models
