Theme: 'Client value for money from assignments & being an even more successful consultant' Date: Thursday 29th October 2009

This additional meeting was arranged because Amanda Chester, Chair of the Membership Committee, suggested we might like to hear John Purkiss talk about branding for consultants. When we discussed the idea of an extra meeting in July, a majority of those present thought it would be good to hear John whilst his book is still topical rather than wait until 2010.
John Purkiss is the co-author of BRAND YOU
– Turn Your Unique Talents into a Winning Formula,
published in June 2009. He will describe how to build your
personal brand, based on your talents, values and purpose. He
will also show you how to use Jungian archetypes to build your
brand identity. John will be happy to sign copies of the book.
Further information is at
www.brandyou.info. John
studied economics at Cambridge University and has an MBA from
INSEAD. He initially worked in banking and management
consultancy, and has helped to launch several new businesses.
He began his career in executive search with Heidrick &
Struggles, where he became a Partner prior to co-founding
Purkiss & Company. Further information is at
www.johnpurkiss.com.
