Background and Experience 

Amanda is an Associate of CGS, working with individual clients to optimise their approaches to and discussions with the executive search community.

After an early career ranging from public relations through corporate finance and publishing to estate agency, Amanda developed an interest in recruitment and management consultancy over 12 years ago. She now runs her own boutique business, Amanda Chester Consulting, advising and recruiting for most of the global executive search companies as well as several top level boutiques in specialist sectors. She also provides best advice and assistance to both recruitment consultants and researchers wishing to move to, or within, the top tier executive search firms.

Using this day to day awareness of the people and companies in the search industry, Amanda advises CGS’s senior executive clients on their selection of and approaches to the headhunting community. A qualified and experienced coach and mentor in her own right, she is also an Honorary Associate of The Officers’ Association, assisting officers from the three services at all levels transitioning to the commercial world: her husband is a former senior officer in the Royal Marines.
