Claire Dyer took up the office of Clerk in January 2000, shortly following the granting of Company status and left office in December 2004 following the Company's successful petition for Livery.

Her career has mostly been spent in support roles within the HR function, working initially for Hewlett-Packard Ltd and then a privately owned management consultancy company. She is currently working for an HR recruitment business and its OD/LD, pay and performance subsidiaries.

She has just completed an MA at the University of Reading and is a part-time writer of women's fiction and poetry."
