Hugh Morris was educated at Bootham School York and has an MA in
English from Downing College, Cambridge.
He joined Arthur Andersen & Co. Management Consultants
(subsequently Accenture) in 1980 and became a partner in 1991.
He was a Global Managing Partner from 1997 – 2000.
During his time with the firm, he mainly worked in the
City of London, primarily in the Lloyd’s market and at the
London Stock Exchange. He left Accenture in
2001 and worked for QA plc as Operations Director until August
2003 when he joined Xchanging plc. Currently
he is Executive Director, Sales for the UK.
His
voluntary activities include; director of Sadler’s Wells theatre
from 1994 - 2004 and chairman of Sadler’s Wells Trust from 2000
– 2003. Currently he is vice-chairman
of Cranstoun Drugs Services and chairman of Build Africa.
He
joined the Management Consultants Company in 1993 and became a
member of the Court in 1998. He served as
Master in 2006 - 2007
