A chance to celebrate, relax and network

As we approach the Summer holidays it is a great opportunity to get together with friends old and new before we will head off on our respective holidays, breaks and whatever else it is that we do in late July and August.

As the Summer will no doubt be in full swing, we have found a venue that can cater for whatever the British Summer may wish to throw at us.

We have secured, for the evening the London Cru, a winery in London that produces English Wines and has a spacious and interesting venue for us to meet, mingle and network.

London Cru - London's first urban winery

London Cru opened in 2013 as London’s first urban winery. The winery is tucked away down a little alleyway in SW6 and is based in an old Victorian warehouse which was once a gin distillery. 

Whilst the surroundings are historic, innovation is at their core and they house precision temperature-controlled tanks and state-of-the-art winemaking facilities. They use concrete tanks, stainless tanks, French oak barrels and modern eggs.

The event

We will start the evening at 18:30 with a Sparkling Wine and Canapé Reception.

We then have a guided tour of the Winery and a tasting of four of their London Cru wines, all made from English grapes. We then have time for ourselves to network, natter and enjoy the atmosphere with a pay bar for us to enjoy.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity for anyone wishing to do so to purchase London Cru wines on the night at a discounted rate.

We will conclude the evening at 21:00, although we have the venue till 22:00 for those who wish to stay on.

Location

Located at 21- 27 Seagrave Road, London, SW6 1RP, this is only 8 minutes walk from Earls Court and 3 minutes walk from West Brompton both on the District line.

I appreciate that this is short notice for some people, but this is a great opportunity to get together before the Summer break. For those livelier members it could be the start of an evening before heading off to a Club etc.
