Installation Dinner 2026

The Master, Wardens and Company Court warmly invite you to one of the most important and prestigious events in our Company’s forward calendar — the Installation of our next Master, to be held at the historic Apothecaries’ Hall, London, on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. 

The Installation marks the beginning of our Livery Year, when the robes and chain of office are passed from the current Master and Wardens to the new ‘team’ who will take us forward. This is therefore a ‘must attend’ ceremony, followed by a celebratory dinner bringing together the very best of our Company’s traditions. This is your opportunity to be part of a defining moment in the life of WCoMC – to welcome our new Master, engage with the future of our Company and profession, enjoying an evening of camaraderie, fine dining and fellowship, in the grandeur of Apothecaries’ Hall. 

The incoming Master has highlighted as her priorities for the year - responsible stewardship, showcasing the Company at its best, demonstrating that we are stronger together, whilst acknowledging and celebrating our differences. She is keen to focus on growing the Company's influence in the City, engagement with Members and critically growing our membership to ensure our financial sustainability for the future. Recognising her extensive voluntary-sector background in Girlguiding and Scouting at all levels, the new Master has highlighted her desire to support young people through the Sea and Air Cadets, Scouts and Bayes Business School. 

We are delighted to welcome as our principal guest, Captain Stratton Richey, who will deliver an entertaining and thought-provoking address. He has been the voice of the Farnborough Air Show for over 40 years, is a commercial pilot and member of the Worshipful Company of Air Pilots. He also founded a charity, with a small group of BA pilots called 'HIgh Flight', which gives underprivileged and disabled children the opportunity to experience flying offering them the hope of a more exciting future. 

In addition, I am pleased to confrim that Sheriff Elect Prem Goyal and his Consort, Alex Hayward, will be joining us on the evening as our guests. 

The evening includes a three-course fine dining experience, accompanied by carefully selected wines from the Humble Grape. During the dinner, as is our tradition to recognise outstanding achievement within the Sea Cadets, we will be presenting the Satjit Cup and later share in the Loving Cup ceremony. Following the dinner, there will be a Stirrup Cup to allow time for social networking and catching up with fellow Members.
