Every Picture Tells A Story
Wednesday 11th March 2026

Join two-time Lifetime Achievement Award-winnerIain McCaig—artist, author, screenwriter and filmmaker—for an evening of his adventures in the Entertainment Industry, as seen through the lens of his storytelling art.

McCaig has created many pop-culture icons: from Jethro Tull’s ‘Broadsword and the Beast’ album cover to his collaborations with Sir Ian Livingstone on the Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks; from his collaborations with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Neil Jordan, Jon Favreau and many more, to his ongoing work on the Star Wars movies, books and theme parks, including his legendary concept designs for Queen Amidala and Darth Maul

Among his many film collaborations are Disney’s live-action The Jungle Book, Marvel Studios The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, and Warner Brothers’ Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Embedded in McCaig’s images are countless stories: tales of the eternal quest to find something iconic but brand-spanking newepic but on a budget, and from of the heart, with a great “toyline”.  And more recently, his decision to step aside from a career in Studio blockbusters to create three books and a feature film all of his own.
