Our Company is an integral part of the City Livery Network
Livery companies play a key role in the success and vibrancy of the City of London, with their membership drawn from a diverse group of trades, crafts and professions. Our Company became the 105th Livery Company in 2004 and has played an active part in the City since then. In particular, we have played a leading role in providing philanthropic support and in communicating its scale and impact across the livery.

The roles of Livery Companies, Sheriffs and the Lord Mayor, and the development of the Corporation of London have been intertwined for many centuries. In parallel, the City of London has developed into one of the leading Cities globally for the provision of financial and professional services.

This section of our website provides information that relates to the crossover and interaction between WCoMC, other Livery Companies, the Mayoralty, the City Corporation and other organisations based within the City. It describes different aspects of this interaction where WCoMC and its Members have been involved in the past, and where current Members can become involved in the future - whether by participating in specific initiatives, standing for office, or attending livery-wide events.

The Livery Committee website provides up-to-date information on City matters, including a list of all Companies and their principal officers, along with current news and information on upcoming events.
