​Afternoon Tea and Military Musical Spectacular

On Wednesday 8th July 2026 we have a great opportunity to get together for an relaxing afternoon tea at the RAC Club on Pall Mall in the wonderful Committee Room, and then after we have had our fill we can take a short walk over to Horseguards Parade for the Household Divisions Musical Spectacular.

This year for the first time ever, The Household Division is collaborating with Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals, presenting a stunning finale of the most phenomenal and thrilling music from Phantom of the Opera and CATS.

Presenting visual splendour and inspired by music and tradition, the Bands of the Household Cavalry, Grenadier, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards are joined by the Pipes and Drums of the Scots Guards and The London Scottish Regiment. The Band and Bugles of The Rifles alongside The Band of The Brigade of Gurkhas make their debut performance at this year’s show, all combining in a musically stunning performance.

The timings for the day will be:

16:00 Arrive at the RAC Pall Mall

16:30 Afternoon tea

18:45 Head over to Horse Guards to take our seats

20:45 Event finishes, making your own way home.

Please note that:

This is an uncovered outdoor event. Please be aware of the weather. Umbrellas are not to be used during the performance.

Last year was dry till then end and we all got soaked walking to our Bus or Tube stops.

There is a dress code at the RAC Club. As it is the Summer Gents Jacket and shirt, ties are not essential. Ladies to the same standard.

Please dress according to the weather, so please bring you wtaerproofs and warm clothes as needed and sensible shoes.

There are limited toilet facilities at Horse Guards.

Additional drinks – to be purchased yourselves.
