Grey Explains ...

CGP Grey, who has dual American and Irish citizenship, posts "explanatory videos" on YouTube - covering a range of subjects. Many of these postings have gone viral.

He has posted two videos about the City of London - a City within a City. Certainly they help to shed light on our ancient position as a Livery Company, giving an excellent outsider's summary of the differences between the Mayor and the, err, Mayor (ie The Lord Mayor and the Mayor of London). The videos are a perfect primer for anyone looking to get immersed in our institutions.
