Lord Mayor's Show - Saturday 13th November
Lord Mayor's Parade
Come and have fun and show your pride in your Livery and the Management Consulting profession. Watch the procession including more than 100 colourful floats and join us for lunch, or march with us alongside the Sea Cadets.
The programme and approximate timing for this year's parade is as follows:
- 09.00am: Coffee and pastries in the Barbican (location to be advised)
- 10.20am: On parade with the Sea Cadets at the Rotunda, London Wall
- 11.40am: Pass Mansion House and St Paul's to the Royal Courts of Justice
- 12.30pm: Lunch at The George on The Strand
- 13.40pm: Return via the Embankment
- 14.30pm: Finish at London Wall for a well earned drink
Any Liveryman or Freeman can join in the parade. There is no charge for marching — but there will be some inevitable expenses during the day for lunch and any drinks.
There are limited places to march and for breakfast so places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We have reserved the first floor at The George for lunch; this overlooks the Law Courts where the Lord Mayor is sworn in and there is space to bring family and friends. In order to plan the day, please contact Bob Harris to request a place at breakfast and to join the Management Consultants marching group, and also to indicate whether you will be joining us for lunch at The George.
The dress code for spectators will be casual, but for those marching please wear business dress including Company ties where appropriate.
