Election of the Lord Mayor and Celebratory Lunch - Thursday 29 September 2022

  
​Common Hall at Guildhall - From 11am

"All Liverymen who appear on the 2022 Common Hall Register (i.e. who became a Liveryman before 31 May 2021) are summoned to meet at Guildhall on Thursday 29th September 2022 for the election of the Lord Mayor for the year ensuing."

As usual, passes for admission to Guildhall are available in advance the Clerk; those without a pass will be required to verify their name and Company which can delay admission. This year the Livery Committee has once again asked that Liverymen refrain from saving seats for their colleagues as this disadvantages other Liverymen who arrive in good time. Liverymen are required to be seated by 11.30, but it is recommended that you arrive closer to 11.00 to ensure a good seat as Common Hall is likely to be well attended.

Lunch after the election

The Company has been invited by the Master and Wardens of the Worshipful Company of Stationers to join them for lunch in Stationers' Hall after the election. The estimated timing is 12.30 for 1pm, but precise timings will be dependent upon the election proceedings at Guildhall.

Places are limited so please login and book as soon as possible and by no later than 22nd September.  Each Liveryman may be accompanied by a guest if desired.
